Benefits of the technology include faster response times, crime prevention, and enhancing forensic analysis

NICE Systems is announcing the release of NICE Suspect Search, a new video analytics solution aimed at efficiently searching through multiple video sources to detect targets quickly.

The system works by automatically filtering out 95 percent of irrelevant images and presenting the results by relevancy so that searching for multiple targets in multiple cameras is fast and efficient. A recorded image, composite, or full body photo can be used to detect the target.

According to the company, an hour video can be reviewed in less than a minute with NICE Suspect Search.

The technology is ideal for finding the owner of lost luggage, finding a lost child, tracking an intruder of a closed area, or conducting a forensic investigation by analyzing multiple video sources following a crime to identify the perpetrator’s route and actions. Benefits of the technology include faster response times, crime prevention, and enhancing forensic analysis.

The system is built on NICE’s IP video management solution, NiceVision, and can be integrated with NICE’s situation management solution, Situator.
