MANSFIELD, England — A British officer made an elderly robbery victim’s day a little better with the sound of music.
WINS reports that Officer Craig Bull revisited a 93-year-old widower, whose house was recently robbed, to check up on him. When Bull noticed a piano with a sheet of composer Frederic Chopin’s music, he offered to play for the elderly man.
The moment made both of their days.
“It truly made me feel good about myself and the job I do,” Bull said. “He felt wanted and reassured. He was really pleased that we had checked in on him to see that he was ok.”
