PHOENIX — When a father couldn’t take his two daughters to a dance due to work, four Arizona police officers stepped in.
Two Phoenix officers and two Avondale officers dressed up in full uniform to escort Sophia, 5, and Haley, 10, to the dance to make sure they didn’t miss out.
“I got to finally go to the dance that I really wanted to go to instead of just me and my mom,” Haley told the news station.

From starting Cha Cha lines to eating loads of candy with the girls, the officers definitely showed up for Haley and Sophia.
“It was like dancing with a normal person, but with his police officer costume on,” Sophia told Fox10 Phoenix.
Laura Castaneda, the girls’ mother, said she will be forever grateful to the officers who showed up for people they didn’t even know.
“Just to see a complete stranger willing to come and help me and my family...it was touching,” Castaneda told ABC15. “My girls will have this memory for the rest of their lives. I can’t thank them enough.”
