SUNLAND, Calif. — An hour-long pursuit ended with a standoff situation in Sunland Thursday morning.
The suspect, who was driving a white, four-door sedan, could be seen traveling at high rates of speed and weaving through traffic. He also went through several stop signs, and at one point, drove up on a median.
It ended in Sunland at 8:42 a.m., when deputies conducted the pit maneuver on the suspect’s vehicle. The man continued driving backward until two patrol cars were able to surround him.
