National Terror Alert Raised to Orange (High) Status

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has just raised the national terror alert to ORANGE (HIGH) alert status. The alert level was raised because of increasing intelligence coming in from credible sources that indicate a terror attack may be planned against the United States, possibly against the East Coast.

ABC News reported that two specific pieces of intelligence indicating a possible terrorist strike somewhere on the East Coast of the U.S. is driving government risk analysts to raise the alert level. Other sources tell ERRI that additional intelligence is coming in at a rapid rate that indicate some sort of terror attack is being planned -- most likely by al-Qaeda.
