Denver Police Chief Gerry Whitman is going on national television to broaden the search for assault suspect Brent J. Brents.
Whitman said he will make an appearance on NBC’s “Today” show to give national exposure to the search for Brents.
According to the Denver Post, Whitman said, “My only intent is to get him national exposure,” but added that he believes Brents is still nearby.
Brents is suspected of three assaults that have had police searching the city.
“This guy is definitely a career criminal and pedophile,” Whitman said.
