(APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz.) -- No one was injured during a shootout between a suspected car thief and police on Jan. 2.
Michael D. Jones was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of endangerment and one count each of auto theft and unlawful flight.
Sgt. Don Rosenberger of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office told the Arizona Republic that neither the suspect nor Deputy Pat Larrison were injured.
Larrison was fired upon after he tried to stop Jones who was driving a car that had been reported stolen in Chandler on Dec. 24, police said.
