DELAND, Fla. — Fla. deputies determined there was enough cause to arrest a man on charges of stalking a sheriff’s office helicopter crew after he threatened to “help the devil kill [them],” CBS12 reported.

Robert Moni, 59, has previously been arrested after threatening to shoot down the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office helicopter with lasers and gunfire. Moni has also displayed a large sign claiming that Volusia County Sheriff Michael Chitwood is a sinner, according to the report.

This time, Moni was arrested on charges of aggravated stalking after screaming at the crew from outside the hangar, calling them “bad people” and “sinners.” He said that the helicopter “gave him concussions” when it flew over his house, which is near the hangar.

“The devil is going to kill you, and I am going to help,” deputies reported Moni to have said.

Deputies feared that Moni would actually take action, according to the report. He was arrested Sunday and is being held without bond.
