This week’s photo comes from one of our very own – Sarah Calams, Police1’s senior associate editor.

Last weekend, Sarah attended a “Meet the Officers” event with the Anna (Texas) Police Department. Families were invited to learn more about the department and its officers by watching Officer Wesley Davis and his four-legged partner, Miki, the department’s newest K-9, work as she sniffed out narcotics, trying on police gear, getting fingerprinted (don’t worry, it wasn’t official), sitting inside cruisers (and turning on a siren or two) and listening to a police-themed children’s book read by one of Anna PD’s finest.
