PITTSBURGH — Raiders’ linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong is under investigation after allegedly barking at a K-9, San Jose Mercury News reported.
Armstrong “lifted his shirt, pounded on his chest and began barking” at the dog before Sunday’s game, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Kevin Kraus told CBS Pittsburgh.
“He [Armstrong] came out of the locker room, he started jumping up and down, intimidating the dog, calling for the dog,” Kraus told the news site. “The dog immediately responded and tried to make its way over to the player, the K-9 deputy prevented the dog from doing so.”
The sheriff’s office was reviewing the information to make a final determination on charges.
Armstrong has yet to comment on the issue and the Raiders are not expected to comment either.
