WASHINGTON — For the seventh year running, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund highlighted officer safety and wellness best practices as part of its Destination Zero Program.

The program aims to decrease the causal factors that injure and kill law enforcement officers and recognize agencies that have implemented innovative programs so that best practices can be shared with the entire law enforcement community.

Each year, agencies with effective programs in four areas of officer safety are asked to submit details of their initiatives.

After an evaluation process, the NLEOMF announced the following 2021 winners:

The agencies were highlighted during the Destination Zero Officer Safety and Wellness Conference, which was held virtually from the National Law Enforcement Museum in Washington, D.C. on October 15, 2021, as part of events for Police Weekend 2021.
