Duty Death: Tim Mullen - [Ripley]

RIPLEY, Tenn. — The Ripley Police Department is in mourning after Officer Tim Mullen died late Wednesday while on duty.
According to WREG, Mullen was taken to the hospital after a staff member found him unresponsive at the police station. Mullen died despite life-saving efforts.
Mullen had worked with the department for over a decade, according to police.
“Officer Tim Mullen will always have a special place in the hearts and minds of the Ripley Police Department and this community,” the department wrote on Facebook. “Tim was an amazing police officer, a friend to many, and a wonderful husband.”
