Training to sharpen your reaction time

We all know from experience that an action taken by someone will usually be followed by some kind of a reaction from you or another. If someone takes a swing at you and you fail to act in some way — block, duck, evade — you’re likely to get hit.

We all have a flinch move when someone throws a punch, but does that flinch response get you out of the way and ready to respond to the threat (or do you just get hit with the next swing or punch)?

So how do we prepare and condition ourselves to better prepared to react to a sudden action. We train! We train our minds, our eyes our hands our feet and condition ourselves for a flinch response that takes the reaction and turns it into action. We now become the person in control.
