ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A video captured at the scene of a fight shows a student assaulting an officer while others gather around and join in, WWLP reported.
Officers responded a fight on Oct. 29 at William Allen High School. Things escalated quickly when officers attempted to break up the brawl.
A female officer is seen on video being attacked by a student as a crowd gathers around them.
“Four of our officers were injured yesterday and we are going to continue to investigate this until everybody that was involved has been identified,” Chief Keith Morris said to the news site.
A total of five teenagers were arrested and four officers were injured in the process. The injuries range from minor to moderate and two officers were released from the hospital that same day.
Charges for the teenagers include felony aggravated assault, riot and disorderly conduct
