RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh police officer was off-duty and heading home when he stopped to help a suicidal man on a bridge, ABC 11 reported.
The officer got a call Wednesday evening and stopped for a man who was over the bridge rails and in an obvious state of distress.
After the officer spent a few minutes talking with the man, he agreed to come back over the bridge rail.
The officer then hugged the man and walked him back to his car.
