ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — A video of an officer playing football with children has gone viral, NBC 10 reported.

The officer in the video, Jesse Oliver-Logan, was patrolling the high-crime district on Dec. 6 when he decided to stop and play with the children. Oliver-Logan hadn’t gotten any calls, so he played catch for 20 minutes.

“The kids were having a blast,” Oliver-Logan told the news site. “I like to use my free time for things like this.”

The video was posted on Facebook by Robert Kelsey Jr. who happened upon the scene.

“I don’t even see regular fathers in this neighborhood or any other neighborhoods doing this with their children,” the video was captioned. “I’m pretty sure if this was a negative video with the police it will go viral, so let’s see if we can make with positive video do numbers!”
