ORLANDO — An emotional reunion between an officer and a victim of the massacre in Orlando was captured on video.
According to ABC News, Angel Colon was shot three times during the massacre that killed 49 people and wounded dozens more. Eatonville Police Officer Omar Delgado is credited with saving Colon’s life by dragging him out of the club.
Colon and Delgado reunited for the first time at a local hospital, where Colon is currently recovering from his wounds.
“I was so happy,” Colon told the publication. “I’ve been wanting to see the man that took me out of that horrible place.”
Delgado, along with three or four other officers, battled gunfire erupting in their direction as they pulled the wounded out of the club multiple times.
