Video: Accessories for your patrol rifle

There are more accessories available for the M4 / AR-15 rifle system than for probably any other firearm out there. In this video tactical tip, Police1 Contributor Don Alwes discusses the things you’ll probably want to consider having on your patrol rifle, without making it so heavy and cumbersome that the effectiveness of the system — or the operator — is diminished.

Remember, as always, the most important “accessory” you have to be concerned with is the operator. If your budget is limited, use what you’ve got to take care of your training. The “Barbie Doll” accessories you can get for you AR will never exceed the importance of a well-trained police officer.
