Video: Bloodhound sworn in as new K-9

Detective Prince will assist the Missing Child Task Force

WEST YORK, Pa. — Video of a bloodhound becoming the newest member of the West York Borough Police has gone viral.

K-9 Detective Prince was sworn in with an official ceremony in early April, USA Today reported. He’ll assist the Missing Child Task Force with his handler, Officer Scott Musselman. 

"I love him. He's my little buddy already," Musselman said.

From being sworn in to meeting his senior officers, this Bloodhound puppy is joining the police force.

Prince will take the place of the department’s current bloodhound, Lou, who is set to retire. 

Prince will undergo training with the department for the next year.
