PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — Police in Maryland will live-tweet a prostitution sting.
According to an announcement on the Prince George’s County Police Department’s website, the PGPD’s Vice Unit will live-tweet everything from arrests to suspect photos as they conduct a sting.
The move stems from the department’s desire to scare off potential solicitors in the county.
#PGPDVice will occur at an undisclosed location next week. The department called the event an “unprecedented, social media tactic.”
