4 Pa. troopers injured after cruisers crash during pursuit

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Four Pennsylvania state troopers were hospitalized Monday after a pursuit ended with two cruisers crashing.

According to Penn Live, the incident began just before midnight when troopers tried to pull over a man for traffic violations. The suspect, 36-year-old Christopher Naugle, refused to pull over and began a pursuit. Two police vehicles crashed at some point during the pursuit and Naugle was arrested at the scene.

Two troopers suffered moderate injuries and two suffered serious injuries, according to the report. All four were in stable condition on Tuesday.

Naugle was charged with fleeing and eluding, recklessly endangering another person and multiple summary traffic violations, Penn Live reported.
