CASSIA, Fla.- More details are being released about what may have led to a triple murder-suicide in Lake County. It involved two Eustis police officers and both their wives.
According to investigators, 34-year-old Michael Mount shot his wife, another police officer and that officer’s wife before turning the gun on himself. Investigators said Mount used the gun issued by the Eustis police department to shoot himself and the three other people in the head. There are also indications Mount did some kind of surveillance on the home before the killings.
