A timeline of the July 21 failed bombing attacks in London on three Tube trains and a bus as provided by police Monday, according to information they have obtained from closed circuit television camera footage and eyewitness reports. All times are London local time, one hour behind GMT.

12:20 p.m. - The Shepherd’s Bush bomber, who has not yet been identified by name, boards a train from Westbourne Park station toward Shepherd’s Bush, wearing a dark blue baseball cap and carrying a small rucksack. After trying to detonate the bomb, he climbs through a window at the end of the carriage and heads along the track for about 200-300 yards (meters). He then climbs down into backyards, goes along Macfarlane Road, past the BBC building and is last seen running under the A40 highway.

12:25 p.m. - A 27-year old suspect identified by police as Muktar Said Ibraihim, also known as Muktar Mohammed Said, is spotted at Stockwell station walking toward the platforms, carrying a gray and black rucksack. Yasin Hassan Omar, 24, is also seen at the Stockwell station with a purple rucksack. The Oval station bomber, who has not yet been identified by name, boards the northbound Northern Line train, and tries to set off a bomb between Stockwell and Oval stations soon after. Members of the public chase him but he gets away.

12:35 p.m. - The Oval station bomber flees the station and runs along Brixton Road, toward Brixton. Runs along Normandy Road, Cowley Road, Gosling Way and throws away his distinctive top emblazoned with the words “New York” at the junction with Mostyn Gardens. Then heads into Cancell Road, Frederick Crescent and Langton Road.

12:40 p.m. - Omar is spotted without his rucksack in Warren Street tube station, shortly after he tries to set off a bomb in the northbound Victoria line train between Oxford Circus and Warren Street.

12:45 p.m. - The Oval bomber is last seen on Tindal Street.

12:53 p.m. - Said gets on the number 26 bus in the Bank area of the City, taking a seat toward the back of the bus.

13:05 p.m. - Said gets off the bus at Hackney Road after unsuccessfully trying to detonate his bomb.
