These officers have been lucky enough to survive their lapse into Condition White, that treacherous mental state where you are oblivious of your environment and your actions in it. Their challenge now is to survive the squad room comments of their fellow officers!

RACINE, Wis. (AP) - A police officer was struck in the cheek by a bullet Thursday in an accident while on duty, authorities said.
The wound he received was not life-threatening, police said.
Two officers were patrolling in a car with a bag of spare 9 mm bullets on top of a handheld spotlight between the front seats shortly after 2 p.m., when one bullet went off, said Racine police Sgt. William Macemon.
The spotlight apparently got turned on without the officers knowing, he said, and its heat set off the bullet. No one was hit.
The officers pulled over. One of them took the bag out of the car and put it on the ground, when a second bullet went off and struck him in the cheek, Macemon said.
The officer was taken to the hospital but his wound seemed to be superficial, Macemon said.
The officer did not violate any rules for carrying the spare ammunition in the patrol car because he was a SWAT team member, Macemon said.
