MORROW COUNTY, Ohio — Cell phone video captured a sudden and brutal attack on an Ohio State Trooper who was attempting to remove a passenger from a Greyhound bus.

The Columbus Dispatch reports Trooper Tressa Winans was called to the bus Thursday to remove 26-year-old Antoinette Taylor, who was reportedly screaming at other passengers and forced the bus to stop.

The assault began shortly after Winans boarded. Taylor hit the trooper in the face before the scuffle moved outside. Taylor then managed to pin Winans to the ground and strike her multiple times before the bus driver and another passenger intervened and aided Winans in regaining control of the situation.

Taylor was arrested and charged with assault on a police officer. Winans was treated for injuries to her head, according to the report.
