Ind. minors show up drunk to bail out friend, arrested

After explaining why it wasn’t wise to go to a police station drunk, officers arrested the men and took them into the jail

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. — Two men were arrested early Sunday morning after trying to bail their friend out of jail in Johnson County, all while drunk.

The men, both younger than 21, went to the jail to get information about helping their friend, who had been arrested for underage drinking. Officers noticed the men smelled like alcohol, according to reports from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

After explaining why it wasn’t wise to go to a police station drunk, officers arrested the men and took them into the jail.
