PINOLE, Calif. — It was like something out of a movie: Dozens of goats were roaming freely in a California neighborhood.

Officers with the Pinole Police Department responded to the neighborhood to assist with corraling the escaped goats, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.

The goat escape news came the same day that BART bestiary announced a sheep herd would replace a goat herd for fire mitigation efforts, KRON reports.

In an updated comment, the department said it took less than a minute to get the goats back into their enclosure.
