ROSWELL, N.M. — A fiberglass and metallic model of a spaceship reported lacking from the UFO Museum within the New Mexico city of Roswell has been present in items west of the town.
Police say the mannequin UFO was stolen from the museum early Saturday and surveillance video confirmed three individuals hauling the spaceship off in a pickup truck.
Albuquerque TV station KOB reported Wednesday that the saucer was situated in a ditch off Freeway 70 about two miles west of Roswell.
Some on social media instructed in jest that “males in black” or “aliens” have been accountable. However police say surveillance video exhibits three thieves hauled away the spaceship in a pickup truck.
