LAKEVILLE, Minn. —A “critter” was rescued after trying to join a Minnesota police force, according to a post on X.
“Gerald” the raccoon was dropped off at a wildlife rehab center after following Lakeville Police Department officers and even climbing into a cruiser.
“He wants to be one of the crew!” noted a commenter. Photos shared in the post show Gerald interacting with officers and climbing on one of the cruisers.
“He’s looking up to our heroes!” another comment reads.
