LAREDO, Texas — New bodycam footage shows a bizarre and dramatic scene at the Texas-Mexico border.

In the video, Border Patrol agents and Texas state troopers rush toward a fiery car wreck.

“She’s in the bag," a man is heard saying in the video.

Together, three officers reach into the back of the burning car and remove a large duffle bag. With some difficulty, they carry the heavy bag back a few steps and unzip it, releasing the woman who was trapped inside.

The March 24 incident happened near Laredo, Texas, according to FOX News. Border Patrol agents were pursuing a suspected smuggler when the man crashed and the car caught fire. The suspect tried to run but was quickly caught by state troopers, the report said.
