VALLEY BROOK, Okla. – Police have released dash cam video capturing the Sunday shooting that left an officer in critical condition.
According to KOCO, Officer Brian Southerland is in good spirits after undergoing surgery Tuesday.

The officer was shot in the femoral artery by suspect Cory Lee Hartsell, 27.
Hartsell fled, but was later arrested Monday and charged with shooting with intent to kill, unauthorized use of a vehicle and an outstanding warrant, according to News on 6.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for the wounded officer as he makes his recovery.
