NEW ORLEANS — The in-person portion of IACP 2021 has been canceled. On Wednesday, organizers said Hurricane Ida’s impact on the Gulf Coast has made it necessary to move the show online.

All events will now be virtual and on Eastern time, according to the press release.

“We recognize that this news is disappointing,” organizers wrote in part. “Like all of you, we were looking forward to convening in person, networking, and learning together. However, we are pleased to say that the IACP 2021 virtual event will continue as planned.”

Online attendees will receive a confirmation email with a link to the online event no later than September 10, according to the release. If you don’t get the email, contact annualconference@theIACP.org.

Police1 will continue to report from the virtual conference. Follow our coverage of IACP 2021 and related product announcements here.
