PINSON, Ala. — An off-duty officer was shot three times in his home during a domestic dispute Monday.
According to The Huntsville Times, the 37-year-old school resource officer was shot in the back, lower body, and hand Monday night after the husband of a woman who was present at the officer’s home arrived at the door and opened fire.
The shooter fled the scene and is still at large.
The injured officer was transported to the hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, the North Jefferson News reported.
