SEAFORD, Del.- A Georgetown police officer has been charged after he ran his SUV off the road and struck a jogger, killing her.
State police say 25-year-old Bradley Cordrey of Seaford turned himself in Thursday. He was charged with operation of a motor vehicle causing the death of another person.
Police say Cordrey struck and killed 42-year-old Sarah Dykstra on August 13th. According to a report by investigators, Cordrey’s Nissan Xterra ran off the road and crossed the shoulder before hitting Dykstra.
