CHICAGO — Three undercover suburban police officers who are part of a drug task force are facing criminal charges after getting into a fight with bouncers at a well known Peoria strip club.

Members of the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad tussled with Big Al’s staffers April 5. They quarreled with a club bouncer, and one of the men, a 34-year-old Bolingbrook police officer, squared off with the bouncer.

Another man, a 26-year-old Channahon police officer, pushed the bouncer over a chair, Burgess said. A 40-year-old Bolingbrook officer also became involved in the struggle. No injuries were reported.

The Channahon officer and one Bolingbrook officer were charged with battery, while the other Bolingbrook officer was charged with battery and criminal trespassing.
