EXTON, Pa. — Two brazen shoplifters are in custody after police say they tried to make off with $8,500 in perfume, according to FOX 29. Luckily, police were already waiting for them. Surveillance cameras captured the whole incident.

In the video, several men in hoodies walk into an Ulta beauty store and start sweeping expensive perfumes into large trash bags. But it doesn’t last long. Soon, officers arrive and tackle the suspects to the ground.

According to the West Whiteland Police Department, officers had received information earlier about a plan to steal from the store. The department warned Ulta employees and told officers to be on the lookout for a vehicle believed to be linked to thefts at other Ulta stores, the report said.

Police were staking out the Ulta in Exton when an officer spotted the vehicle, according to FOX 29. Officers watched the suspects enter the store and, when alarms started going off, jumped into action.

Officers quickly took Nyziaih Williams, 19, and a 16-year-old male into custody. A third suspect fled.

Police say the Ulta store has been hit by shoplifters twice in the last four months, including one case where two women stole $10,000 in makeup, FOX 29 reported.
