CONWAY, Ark. — A traffic stop turned into a surprise performance after police determined the driver was not under the influence.
Sgt. Keith McKay was one of two officers who pulled over Blayk Puckett Friday night on suspicion of driving under the influence, KARK News reported. Puckett said he was driving slow due to a broken taillight.
Puckett stepped out of the vehicle and complied with police. They determined he was not under the influence.
McKay then asked Puckett what he had in his pockets. Puckett explained that he’s a magician and it was a prop.
McKay reportedly told Puckett, “You’re good to go, but you’re a magician. Can I please see some magic?”
Puckett grabbed his juggling clubs from the backseat of his car and proceeded to put on a show for the officers.
McKay told the news station that the encounter was “absolutely the most fun” he’s had on a traffic stop.
