WELLINGTON, N.Z. — Police hopped on a popular viral trend to help recruit officers.
New Zealand police posted a video on Facebook of officers doing the running man dance to the 1996 Ghost Town DJ song, “My Boo.”
The viral became popular in March when two Maryland basketball players, Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley, danced to the song and posted it to Instagram after being inspired by the originators, according to Sports Illustrated. Since then, many have taken to social media to post their own version.
The Facebook video garnered over 100,000 reactions.
