Streamlight Inc. recently introduced the 2AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO safe light, an alkaline battery-powered flashlight designed for use in hazardous locations.

The 2AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO features C4 LED technology, making it suitable for Division 1 hazardous locations. It provides 65 lumens, 2,300 candela peak beam intensity and a 96-meter beam distance, plus a run time of 24 hours to 10 percent of its initial lumen output.

Other features include a smooth parabolic reflector to produce a tight beam and optimize peripheral illumination. A push-button tail switch offers momentary or constant operation.

An impact-resistant engineering polymer body and face cap, and an “unbreakable” polycarbonate lens with a scratch-resistant coating makes the 2AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO safe light durable and ideal for industrial use.

It weighs 3.6 ounces, and measures 6.4 inches. It is IPX7 rated for waterproof operation to 1 meter for 30 minutes, and is also impact resistance tested to 1 meter.

The light is available in yellow or black. The MSRP for the 2AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO is $32.96 and includes Streamlight’s limited lifetime warranty.
