Autism Awareness | VirTra & SARRC | FULL version

In honor of Autism Awareness Month and the two-year anniversary of the collaboration between VirTra and SARRC, a special event was held at VirTra's HQ. Members of the autism community and SARRC went through the simulated scenarios and curriculum, giving valuable input on how they feel it will help them as well as officers. With the curriculum available to several dozen agencies around the United States, the goal is to create safer communities and encourage trust and understanding between officers and people on the spectrum.
