Polaris’ Slingshot is a three-wheeled vehicle designed after ATVS, motorcycles, and cars.

The Slingshot is a five-speed manual-shifting vehicle equipped with power-assisted steering, a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder DOHC Ecotec engine, a double-wishbone suspension with coil-over shocks in the front, and a sway bar.

The car-motorcycle hybrid features lateral seating, stability control, antilock brakes, and a glove box much like a car, however it requires a helmet and motorcycle license to drive.

The Slingshot is a topless roadster but is equipped with waterproof seats and lockable storage bins in the rear of the vehicle.

It weighs just over 1,700 pounds and is about 150 inches long by 77.6 inches wide.

Other features include low-profile performance tires, a carbon-fiber reinforced belt drive, a short-header exhaust, and a media console including a 4.3-inch LCD screen, back-up camera, Bluetooth, and a 6-speaker output audio system.

The Slingshot costs $23,999. To learn more, go to www.polaris.com.
