OMAHA, Neb. — The Omaha Police Department apologized after using an expletive to describe a double homicide suspect in a Facebook post, Omaha.com reported.

The department posted a photo of Dontevous Loyd, a man charged in a warrant with killing two people and wounding three others, with the caption “Turn this (expletive) in. Now.”

The post was removed ten minutes later with a statement from the department apologizing for the “unprofessional language.”

“No we were not hacked,” the department wrote. “It was a human error and we will take extra steps to make sure that it does not happen again.”

Dozens of commenters wrote they were not offended by the post and supported the sentiment.
