CARSON, Calif. — Police in California are looking for three children who were abducted at gunpoint.
Police say the children were taken Wednesday from their foster parents by the children’s parents in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant in Carson, Calif.
Authorities say their mother was armed with a handgun. They say she and her husband went to the parking lot for a scheduled visit. The children range in age from 2 to 11.
Police say she took the children from the foster parents’ vehicle and put them in her car. Authorities say the suspects then fled in a green 2000 Land Rover.
Police have issued an Amber Alert for the children.
