ORANGE COUNTY A standoff in Pine Hills ended early Sunday morning when the Orange County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team removed a 28-year-old man from a house in the 3600 block of Baronette Drive.

The incident began about 8 p.m. Saturday when several bail bondsmen went to the house looking for Donny Hinds, who was wanted on multiple felony warrants, sheriff’s Cpl. Susan Soto said. As they approached the house, a shot was fired from inside. No one was hurt.

The SWAT team threw tear gas into the house, but Hinds stayed inside. Finally, just before 1 a.m., the SWAT team went inside and arrested Hinds.

Hinds is being held at the Orange County Jail without bond.
