This week’s photo comes from Officer Kerri Rivas, who shared a heartwarming story about these two officers, Michael Fernandez and Eric Lombard of California Highway Patrol, who rescued the two dogs pictured after they fled their family’s vehicle, running wild on the freeway. It was Officer Fernandez’s lunch that lured the dogs in, who, as you can see, are safely at home.
