A look at the four men police suspect of trying to detonate bombs in London on July 21:
- YASIN HASSAN OMAR, 24, suspected of attempted bombing on Tube near Warren Street. Arrested Wednesday in central city of Birmingham. A Somali citizen with British residency.
- MUKTAR SAID IBRAHIM, 27, suspected of trying to bomb a double-decker bus in Hackney in east London. Also known as Muktar Mohammed Said. Arrested Friday at an apartment in west London. A naturalized British citizen from Eritrea who was granted British residency at age 14. Relatives said he moved out of the family’s northwest London home in 1994.
- RAMZI MOHAMMED, suspected of attempted bombing on Tube near Oval. Arrested Friday at an apartment in west London. Shown in closed-circuit TV video wearing a “New York” sweatshirt.
- OSMAN HUSSAIN, suspected of attempted bombing on Tube near Shepherd’s Bush station. Arrested Friday in Rome at his brother’s apartment. Born in Somalia and a naturalized British citizen. Closed-circuit television images from the Westbourne Park station show him carrying a backpack. Italian media reported he was traced through cell phone calls across Europe to Italy. Britain is seeking extradition.
