KANKAKEE, Ill. — Footage obtained by WLS shows the moment a bulldozer crushed a police car during a low-speed pursuit.

Austin White, 18, stole the bulldozer from a construction site on Aug. 24 and began driving it on the streets, ABC 11 reported.

The videos, compiled from several dash cameras, shows White backing over a police car when an officer attempted to stop him. The officer is seen fleeing before the car was crushed. No one was injured, but the car was severely damaged.

White fled, leading police on a low-speed pursuit. Officers can be seen running near the bulldozer and jumping on the back in an attempt to stop the machinery.

The pursuit slowed to a stop and White was pulled from the bulldozer. A TASER was deployed to subdue White. Police told WLS that White never had a driver’s license.

He is charged with at least 6 felony counts including attempted murder and driving under the influence of drugs.
