FBI helping Hawaii police track disguise wearing serial bank robber

By Associated Press

HONOLULU- F-B-I agents are helping Honolulu police pursue a man wanted for robbing 14 banks in the last 11 months while disguising himself as everything from a construction worker to a blond woman.

The F-B-I is analyzing photographs of the man and descriptions of his tactics to see if he matches the patterns of any serial bank robbers on the mainland.

The suspect is said to be in his 40s, stand 5 feet 8 and weigh 180 pounds. He has a fair complexion and a dark mustache.

He also has a tendency to wear a variety of disguises, including the time he dressed up in nurse hospital scrubs and another when he showed up in a security guard uniform.

Most recently the man pretended he was an injured soldier when he allegedly robbed the Pearlridge branch of the Hickam Federal Credit Union.
