A fight involving more than 50 people Sunday night in Edgewood was broken up after police officers used stun guns to subdue suspects and made five arrests, authorities said yesterday.
About 30 Harford County sheriff’s deputies and state troopers responded shortly before 11 p.m. to the 1400 block of Harford Square Drive and discovered a large crowd of people yelling and fighting.
After unsuccessfully attempting to quell the disturbance, the deputies used the stun guns, police said.
Robert B. Thomas, a spokesman for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, said one woman who refused to cooperate with deputies was stunned twice.
Harford deputies arrested Martez Anthony Jenifer, 22, of Abingdon and Markeya Chanell Jenifer, 27, and Tracy Banks, 29, both of Edgewood and charged them with disorderly conduct. They were released on personal recognizance.
State troopers arrested Marlon Jenifer, 19, of Aberdeen, and Mark Antoine Jenifer, 26, of Edgewood, on disorderly conduct charges, said 1st Sgt. Russell Newell, a spokesman for the Maryland State Police.
