BERKLEY, Mich. — K-9 Bear with the Berkley Police Department led officers right to three teenagers who took off in a stolen car, jumped out and tried to hide, WDIV reports.

Police said they tried to pull the car over for a traffic violation around 2:30 a.m. on May 28. The car drove off at a high speed but ended at a dead end. All three passengers got out of the car and fled the scene.

The first teen was found by an officer with the Lathrup Village Police Department. The other two teens came out of hiding as the K-9 tracked them.

All three teens were taken into custody. They were turned over to their parents later in the morning.

Police said the car was stolen around 30 minutes before the attempted traffic stop.

The teens are facing charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle and obstruction.
